Jordi Vilanova

Jordi Vilanova is the President of IMI Official Partner company Mercan Properties, a leading real estate development company based in Portugal specializing in hospitality and tourism sector projects.

Born in Barcelona, Jordi moved to Canada in the 1980s where he gained significant experience in diverse markets, including managing NEC’s operations in Spain and Portugal and engaging in private equity investments. Since joining Mercan in 2008, he has played a pivotal role in expanding Canadian investment migration programs.

Jordi was instrumental in pioneering real estate rehabilitation investments in Portugal and introduced new models for investor security, establishing Mercan as a trustworthy and integrated service provider in the residency and citizenship by investment space.
